
Walking in faith blogs from a Church Administrator Assistant
I’ve been employed with a local church for ten year’s and four years ago the administrator Assistant walked off the job. Doors were opened up to me. With the approval of our staff parish I was given the opportunity to shine. As I stepped in a messy office with no organization, the challenge was great. My head spun end of year Reports were all due and nothing had been done. Codes passwords nowhere to be found, following her work was nearly impossible. At this church there is only two personal in the office our Pastor and Me. Our pastor was going through back surgery as I became the administrator and she was gone most of the time. I knew then I was on my own. It was sink or swim. There was conflict with the last administrator and I had the feeling some members wanted me to sink. But this only fluid the fire.

As you can imagine, things were a mess.
